My Quick Start training is a step-by-step video tutorial course that helps you get your first WordPress website up and running. It is a thorough overview of the WordPress interface and is designed for home inspectors who want to build an attractive and high converting website, quickly (in a day or weekend).
In order to create a self-hosted WordPress website, under your own domain name, you will need to purchase a domain name and web hosting, and I will show you exactly what you need to do to set that up — I’ll even show you how to come up with the ideal dot-com name for your website.
Typically domains will cost you $12 per year and web hosting will cost about $79 per year. If you wish to build out multiple websites, you can use the same hosting account to add-on additional websites at no additional cost.
I will show you how to install WordPress onto your web hosting account. Once installed, I will show you how to customize WordPress to match your inspection brand or mood, adding extra functions with plugins and widgets and how to add custom graphics and your logo.
I will teach you to create the 5 key pages that your inspection website must have. Each page we create contains different functions which can be used on ANY page of your site such as adding images, video, contact forms, Google maps, testimonials, Social Media Icons, plus much more.
During the training, I will take you from the top of the page, all the way down to the bottom, explaining in detail what you must include on each section of the website… You will clearly understand what to put and how to put it on the site and make it live.
